AND
THE MAKING OF JOSEPH
Biblical patterns are visible for those who "see" not just in Word but also in daily life, God Himself puts these patterns in place and gives us the sight to see and not just see but recognise here is a pattern many see in the earth but let's recognise the pattern and it's ability to be adapted and changed...
Not theory—reality.
You can trace it through history, through nations… and through Scripture.
●Hard times.
●Strong men.
●Good times.
●Weak men.
Then back again.
But Scripture doesn’t just show the cycle—
it shows how a man breaks it.
His name was Joseph.
HARD TIMES CREATE STRONG MEN
Joseph didn’t choose hardship.
He was 17—young, obedient, walking with integrity.
Then betrayal came.
Thrown into a pit.
Sold like property.
Stripped of identity, position, and comfort.
This is where most men collapse.
But Joseph didn’t.
Because hardship doesn’t automatically build strength—
it reveals what a man does under pressure.
In the pit, Joseph didn’t lose himself.
In slavery, he didn’t compromise.
“The LORD was with Joseph…”
Genesis 39
That’s the difference.
Not grit alone.
Presence.
Alignment.
Fear of God.
Cavetime principle:
SHOW UP — even when it’s a pit, not a platform.
Hard times forge men who:
take responsibility
endure without whining
stay clean when no one is watching
build strength in silence
This is not comfort.
This is construction.
STRONG MEN CREATE GOOD TIMES
Joseph rises—not by luck, but by discipline.
Potiphar’s house.
Then prison.
Then the palace.
Every level, the same pattern: faithfulness →
responsibility →
authority
He didn’t wait for a crown.
He governed what was in his hands.
That’s what strong men do.
They build:
order out of chaos
provision out of famine
stability for others
Joseph didn’t just survive Egypt—
he saved it.
Cavetime principle:
WORD + WORK = DOMINION
Strong men create good times because:
they carry weight (kavod)
they don’t outsource responsibility
they think generationally
They become providers, protectors, and pillars.
GOOD TIMES CREATE WEAK MEN
This is where it turns.
Comfort creeps in quietly.
No battle. No resistance. No urgency.
And men soften.
Not physically first—
spiritually and mentally.
Discipline fades
Standards drop
Comfort becomes king
Men stop sharpening.
They start consuming.
They inherit what they didn’t build…
and slowly lose the ability to defend it.
Cavetime warning:
If you stop training, you start declining. There is no neutral.
Good times are not the problem.
Undisciplined men in good times are.
WEAK MEN CREATE HARD TIMES
When men avoid responsibility—
hardship doesn’t disappear…
It multiplies.
Weak men:
don’t confront evil
don’t lead their homes
don’t stand when it matters
So decay sets in.
Quiet at first.
Then visible.
Then unavoidable.
Society doesn’t collapse overnight—
it erodes through passive men.
Cavetime truth:
Silence is agreement. Passivity is permission.
When men won’t stand up:
truth gets distorted
discipline disappears
chaos fills the vacuum
And hard times return.
OUT OF NECESSITY — MEN ARE FORGED
Hard times don’t ask permission.
They demand transformation.
You either:
adapt
harden
or get crushed
That’s reality.
Pressure produces:
endurance
clarity
capability
But only if the man leans in.
Cavetime principle:
PRAYER + PRESSURE = POWER
You don’t become dangerous in comfort.
You become dangerous in resistance.
WHY WE NEED JESUS
Here’s where the world gets it wrong.
Hardship alone doesn’t save a man.
It can just as easily make him bitter, violent, or broken.
Joseph wasn’t just strong—
he was surrendered.
That’s the difference.
Without God:
strength becomes pride
resilience becomes hardness
success becomes idolatry
But with Christ:
strength becomes service
authority becomes stewardship
suffering becomes purpose
What was meant for evil… God used for good.
That’s not self-improvement.
That’s redemption.
Cavetime foundation:
WORSHIP anchors the man. Without it, strength will corrupt him.
THE MODERN PROBLEM — SOFT MEN IN SOFT SYSTEMS
Let’s not dance around it.
We are producing men who:
avoid discipline
reject correction
fear discomfort
Boys aren’t being forged.
They’re being protected from the very things that would make them men.
No boundaries.
No accountability.
No standard.
And it shows.
Men won’t:
stand for truth
lead their homes
confront what’s wrong
So culture drifts.
Not because evil is strong—
but because men are weak.
CAVETIME CALL — BREAK THE CYCLE
You don’t wait for the world to change.
You step in and become the interruption.
Be the man who:
trains when others coast
speaks when others stay silent
stands when others fold
Lock in the stones:
SHOW UP — even when it costs
WORSHIP — stay aligned under pressure
PRAYER — build strength where no one sees
WORD — sharpen truth daily
COMMUNITY — lock shields with men who refuse weakness
FINAL WORD
The cycle will keep turning.
But not every man has to follow it.
Joseph didn’t.
And neither do you.
So the question is simple:
Will you be shaped by the times…
or will you be the man who shapes them?
Badger out 🦡
Fantastic message again Bro. Strength and Honour.
